For 2008, The track is being “adjusted” for the average ATV rider while still keeping some serious sections for the adventurous rider. It was good to see the quads return to our track. Scott Gluth took the top spot in the Quad “A” class while Jeremy Pollard taking second place. In the Quad “B” class Andrew Cooper claimed the top overall while Joseph Ponziano had a terrific crash in the second moto when his quad’s front suspension broke sending him on a wild ride. This DNF ruined his day for a good finish but Adam Gourley was the lucky receipient and claimed the second overall. Roger Gluth’s son Erik took the overall in the youth mini quad class. Roger opted for being a spectator Sunday after suffering a concussion at a Saturday night’s race. Hopefully we will see them again at some of the open rides and our D15 MX events. |

The 2008 Dealer Expo had a multitude of booths that features parts for quads and 2 quads stood out as being totally different. In addition to these quad/ATVs a host of aftermarket companies were very aggressive in offering various suspension components for the serious off road market. Look for a wide variety of off road parts that will soon be advertised or in your dealer parts area in the very near future |

The above quad on the left is for the serious off road rider that features 15” tires, 4WD, winch and every aftermarket suspension componet available. The quad (actually a 3 wheeler) on the right is insane. This was actually a proto type that a vendor made for the army (thus if you look closely you will see a army personnel mounted on the ATV. |
