It appears that the members have informally elected Mike Strunk as the Membership Representative for Leisure TimeGP. Congratulations (I think). He has brought several concerns to me that several members have discussed with Mike.  It is Leisure Time’s best interest to take care of the people who, without them, we would not be able to run an event. So I have listened and will insure that where possible I will accommodate your concerns.

Mike should be discussing with each member, the 2006 membership requirements and what they should expect from LTGP.  Mike is supposed to have finalized membership requirements by October 23 so I can check what can and cannot be done.  The annual membership meeting will be Saturday November 12th 9:30am followed by a lunch. If you plan on attending the lunch you need to call either Anita Gougeon [574] 772-5616 or Melinda Slagle [219] 462-3917.  Don will have the track groomed somewhat for open riding noon - 3:00 pm and then shut down to prepare for the following day’s GP.

With 15 MX tracks in northern Indiana, with 3 getting State MX races,  getting race dates this year was extremely difficult.  Below is a list of potential dates. LTPG will be discussing these dates at the annual meeting November 12th. Probably July 2 will be dropped.

Potential MX race dates for 2006: 4-30, 5-27(Sat.)/5/28, 7-2, 10-1, 10-22 (total 6)        Potential GP events for 2006: 3-12, 9-3, 10-29, 11-12 (total 4)
